District 6 is investigating a shooting on July 14 at a BP gas station parking lot in the Walnut Park West neighborhood.
Shortly after 3 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the gas station lot. Upon arriving, they located a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand and graze wound to his shoulder An investigation and details from the victim revealed the victim was attempting to exit the parking lot in his vehicle when gunshots rang out. The victim said he did not see who was shooting.
