District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 40-year-old male injured around 11 a.m. on January 24 in the 1600 block of Hamilton.
The 40-year-old man told officers he was involved in an argument with a 35-year-old male suspect at the location. During the argument, the suspect shot at the 40-year-old. The 40-year-old sustained a graze wound to his nose and ran to the 1500 block of Hodiamont where he sought help.
The 40-year-old was taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
