District 4 is investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on March 19, 2025 in the 1500 block of N. 10th Street.
A 42-year-old man told officers he was walking in the area of N. 10th & Cass Avenue when he heard a loud popping sound then felt pain in his thigh. The man said he lost consciousness and when he regained it, he asked for an acquaintance to take him to the hospital.
The man was listed in stable condition at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
