District 4 is investigating a shooting that injured a 30-year-old man around 10 p.m. on October 6 in the 4000 block of Peck.
The 30-year-old man told officers he was walking when he saw muzzle flashes then felt pain and realized he was shot. The man said he walked home and was conveyed to the hospital by a relative.
The 30-year-old was listed in critical/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
