District 3 is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on July 27 in the Fox Park neighborhood.
Around 9:40 p.m., officers were called to the 2300 block of Gravois relative to a 24-year-old man that was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was mainly uncooperative with officers and would not provide any statement other than saying he was shot “somewhere on Jefferson” and ran to a gas station for help. However, a canvass of the area revealed the incident likely occurred in the 2900 block of Texas where officers located a scene.
EMS responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
