District 1 is investigating a shooting that injured a 47-year-old man on September 11 in the Patch neighborhood.
The 47-year-old man reported that around 9:15 p.m., he and a 62-year-old friend were driving in the area of South Broadway & Marceau attempting to find his old home. While driving, a male suspect who is known to them flagged them down.
The 47-year-old said when they pulled over to speak to the known man, the man fired a shot at them, striking the 47-year-old in the face. The 62-year-old was not injured.
