District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 45-year-old man injured on December 27 at approximately 1:30 a.m.
The 45-year-old man told officers he was standing on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of Wabada when he saw multiple subjects arguing nearby. The man said he then heard gunshots, felt pain to his foot, and realized he was shot.
The 45-year-old was privately conveyed to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
