Homicide detectives have identified the deceased victim as 17-year-old Dameon Kennedy-Henderson of Ferguson, MO.1

Homicide detectives are investigation a shooting that left an unidentified man dead on July 24 in The Greater Ville neighborhood.
Shortly before 1 a.m., officers were called to the 4600 block of Elmbank for a shooting. Upon arriving, they located a man lying in the doorway of a vacant residence. He was suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation to determine what led to the shooting.
