District 4 officers responded to a Shooting in the 2900 block of James Cool Papa Bell around 12:45 p.m. on November 30.
Officers found a 31-year-old man laying in the street outside of a Hyundai Sante Fe that had come to rest against a tree. The man had been shot and was barely conscious and barely breathing.
They Hyundai Sante Fe had apparent bullet holes and officers located numerous shell casings throughout the block.
EMS took the man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical/unstable condition.
