Man Stabbed in The Greater Ville

District 4 is investigating a stabbing incident that happened on January 23 at North Markey & Prairie.

A 56-year-old man told officers he was in his vehicle when a known suspect approached him about an on-going feud. The 56-year-old said the suspect threw a brick into his window, striking him in the face.

After a brief struggle with the suspect, the 56-year-old man said the suspect produced a knife and then stabbed him in the chest, causing a small puncture wound. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, and the 56-year-old responded to his home to contact police.

EMS transported the 56-year-old man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
