District 6 is investigating a stabbing that left a 55-year-old man injured on January 1 in the 6100 block of Sherry.
The 55-year-old man told officers he was at a residence with other people around 8:10 a.m. when he had an argument that led to a fight with a known female. During the fight, the man said the woman stabbed him in the side with a steak knife. She then fled from the scene.
EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
