District 1 Detectives need help identifying and locating the woman pictured below. She is wanted for an assault that occurred around 8:45 p.m. on December 9.
A preliminary investigation revealed the woman entered an O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store in the 4200 block of S. Broadway and made a purchase. After making the purchase, the woman engaged in a conversation with a clerk who informed the woman the store was closing. When asked to leave once the time was past closing hours, the woman became upset and knocked over a store computer. She then punched the clerk in the face.
The clerk sustained a minor hand injury while attempting to remove the woman from the store. The woman fled in an older model Nissan Sentra and is being sought. The investigation is ongoing.
