Update: On March 3, 2025, officers located and arrested a 28-year-old man for this incident. He was previously charged with at-large warrants for Assault 3rd Degree – Special Victim and Tampering with a Witness by the Circuit Attorney’s Office.
District 6 Detectives need help identifying and locating the suspect pictured below. He is wanted for assaulting a 70-year-old woman in the 7800 block of North Broadway on February 8, 20251. The suspect was illegally dumping trash. The 70-year-old woman confronted him and took photographs of him.
The suspect became irate, yelling at the woman to leave him alone. He then struck the woman in the face with his fist.
The suspect is described as a light complected male, unknown race, with dark long hair in a ponytail, dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and tan work boots.
