The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department joined other law enforcement agencies at the State Capitol on Saturday for the Missouri Law Enforcement Memorial Service.
Each year, we come together to honor and remember our fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Their dedication to protect and serve the City of St. Louis will never be forgotten. We stand with their families and loved ones and pledge to carry their legacy forward.
This year, SLMPD Officer David Lee and five others from across the state were etched into history at the Law Enforcement Memorial. Officer Lee was hit by a drunk driver in September while helping a motorist after an accident.
We shall never forget.
