District 1 is investigating a report of a 14-year-old being robbed on September 22 in Dutchtown.
Shortly before midnight, officers received a call about the robbery. The 14-year-old told officers that about 1:40 p.m. earlier in the day, he was walking in the 4700 block of S. Spring when he was approached by three unknown males. The teen said the males pointed handguns at him and demanded his belongings. When he refused to give up his property, the teen said one of the suspects struck him in the face with the firearm.
The teen said he relinquished his property to the suspects and then the suspects ran from the scene. The teen further stated he was not injured and declined medical attention. It is unknown why the teen delayed reporting the incident however the investigation remains ongoing.
