District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old injured on April 20, 2025 in the 5100 block of Terry.
Shortly after 5 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they located a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot.
The teen told officers he was sitting in a vehicle with another male when they responded to the rear of a residence. Upon exiting the car, the 15-year-old said he heard gunshots and then felt pain to his foot.
EMS responded and transported the teen to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
