District 6 is investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man injured on April 6, 2025 in the 4200 block of Shreve.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., officers received a call or a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they located the 18-year-old male lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg and bleeding heavily. The 18-year-old was unable to provide a statement due to his condition. He was transported to the hospital and listed in critical/unstable condition.
A preliminary investigation revealed a shootout occurred at the location between multiple unknown subjects. The subjects fled from the scene prior to police arriving. The investigation is ongoing.
