District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened just after 2:00a.m. on December 8 in the 1200 block of Hodiamont.
A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old man told officers they were approached by four unknown men all armed with guns in the courtyard of an apartment complex. The men began assaulting the 28-year-old with a gun on the back of the head. Other men began assaulting the 27-year-old with a gun on his upper back. The men emptied their pockets, and all four men ran away in different directions. Taken was cash and car keys.
Both men refused medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
