District 3 is investigating a shooting that left two men injured on August 19 in The Gate District neighborhood.
Shortly after 2:15 a.m., officers were called to the 2600 block of Caroline. Upon arriving, they located a 46-year-old man and a 31-year-old man both suffering from gunshot wounds. A preliminary investigation revealed the victims were at the location socializing with people when they heard gunshots and were struck.
EMS responded and transported both men to the hospital where they were listed in stable condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
