District 5 is investigating a shooting that left two people injured on April 10, 2025 in the 4500 block of Nash Way.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 21-year-old woman and a 19-year-old male, who are romantically involved, had an argument over personal matters around 12:45 a.m. During the argument, the 21-year-old woman pushed the 19-year-old male at which time a firearm that was on the 19-year-old male went off.
The 21-year-old woman was hit in her leg by the gunfire. The 19-year-old male was hit in his hand. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
