District 5 officers responded to a call for a Shooting in the 5500 block of Dr. Martin Luther King around 7:00 p.m. on August 14.
A 20-year-old man told officers that he was driving in the 5400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King when he heard gunshots and realized he had been shot. He drove into the next block and contacted 911 for help.
EMS transported the man to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
