District 1 is investigating a robbery that happened on November 27 near Virginia & Eichelberger.
A 24-year-old woman told officers she was getting a ride home from a known 27-year-old male suspect around 2:30 p.m. During the ride, the woman said the suspect passed her residence causing her to become paranoid and place her firearm under her arm.
The woman said the suspect pulled the car over at Virginia & Eichelberger, grabbed her firearm and then pointed it at her and demanded she get out. The woman complied and then the suspect drove off with her firearm and other belongings in the car.
The woman was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
