District 4 is investigating a robbery that happened just after 9:30 p.m. on November 26 in the 900 block of Olive.

A 31-year-old woman told officers she parked her vehicle at the above location. As she was exiting her vehicle a woman exited a marron Malibu and pointed a gun at her, announcing a robbery. A struggle ensued and the woman fired the gun. The 31-year-old was able to knock the gun out of the woman’s hands and run away.

The 31-year-old was not injured.

The woman picked the gun up and entered the maroon Malibu before driving away. The investigation is ongoing.
