District 2 officers responded to a call for a Hold Up in the 3600 block of Cleveland just after 1:00 a.m. on July 13.
A 23-year-wold woman told officers she was sitting on her front porch when a man in his 20s or 30s, wearing dark clothing, approached her and demanded her cell phone.
The woman refused and the man pulled out a small black handgun. The man then took the woman’s phone and ran from the porch.
The investigation is ongoing.
