District 3 is investigating a robbery that occurred on April 7, 2025 in the 4000 block of Oregon.
A 25-year-old woman told officers she responded to the location around 3:30 p.m. to meet an unknown person to sell them marijuana. While at the location waiting in her car, the woman said an unknown male that appeared to be 17 to 18 years old approached her car and shot her. She was struck in the chest and then drove to the 2700 block of Osage to contact police.
EMS responded and transported the woman to the hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
