Accident Reconstruction is investigating after District 6 officers responded to a crash on W. Florissant near Thrush just before 12:00 a.m. on July 5.
Preliminary information indicates that a blue Infinity Q50 was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of W. Florissant.
A gray Mercury Milan was also traveling westbound on W. Florissant, in the proper lane. The Mercury attempted to turn left from W. Florissant, crossing the eastbound lanes, when it was struck by the Infinity Q50.
The impact caused the Infiniti to strike a Ford Fusion which was parked and unoccupied as well as a Chevrolet Silverado that was parked and occupied by a 32-year-old man who was not injured.
An unidentified male and a 17-year-old female were transported to an area hospital where one of the men was pronounced deceased. The female was listed in stable condition. It is possible that 2 additional male occupants of the Infinity ran away from the scene. It is unknown at this time who was driving the Infiniti.
The 21-year-old woman who was driving the Mercury and a 17-year-old female passenger were transported to an area hospital where they were both listed in stable condition.
The 32-year-old man who was seated in the parked Chevrolet Silverado refused medical treatment at the scene.
Accident Reconstruction is handling this ongoing investigaiton.
