District 6 detectives are investigating after a 25-year-old man showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm shortly after 10:00 p.m. on June 20th.
The victim told officers the incident occurred in the 4900 block of Union. No calls for service relative to a Shooting or Shots Fired were received around that time. Officers were not able to locate a scene or any witnesses in the area the victim reported the incident to have occurred.
The victim told officers that he suddenly felt pain in his arm and realized he had been shot. He did not see anyone shooting or hear any gun shots prior to realizing he was shot.
The victim had a friend drive him to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
