A preliminary investigation revealed, the 31-year-old woman and her 32-year-old boyfriend (suspect) arrived at the 53-year-old woman’s home, who is the mother of the 31-year-old woman. While at the residence, the above-mentioned 23-year-old man, who is the brother of the 31-year-old woman, became upset due to the suspect coming to the residence.

An argument occurred between the 23-year-old man and the suspect regarding the suspect’s presence at the home. After the argument, the suspect left the residence, however, he returned a few minutes later and fired gunshots into the residence. The shots struck the 23-year-old man and the 53-year-old woman in their legs.

The suspect fled from the scene in a Ford Fusion after the shooting. EMS responded and transported the 23-year-old man and the 53-year-old woman to the hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

A short time later, officers located the suspect’s Ford in the rear of the 3100 block of Osceola. An investigation of the suspect’s whereabouts led to a home in the 4400 block of S. Compton. The investigation remains ongoing.
