District 6 detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred during the early morning hours on June 26 the the Baden Neighborhood.
Around 1:10 a.m., officers received call for a “Hold Up” in the 8700 block of Jordan where they located the man who reported that he had responded to the location to meet a female. Upon arriving, the man said he was approached by four young male suspects instead. The man stated the suspects pointed guns at him and demanded he get back into his vehicle, to which he complied. The suspects then entered the man’s car and ordered him to drive down the road. After doing so, the man was robbed of his phone, car key fob, and the suspects took money from the his Cash App account. After taking the items, the suspects fled on foot out of sight.
The victim was not injured during this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
