District 4 detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred during the early morning hours on June 27 in the Near North Riverfront Neighborhood.
While on patrol traveling in the Laclede’s Landing area, an officer spotted a shirtless man on N. 2nd Street. Investigation revealed the man was robbed at gunpoint of his possessions by several unknown males after being led to the Riverfront by another man he knows.
The victim was not injured during this incident however requested transport to the hospital due to being dehydrated. The investigation is ongoing.
