Man Dies Nearly Three Years After Being Injured in 2021 Shooting

Around 9:30 p.m. on October 18, 2021, homicide detectives were called to the 5300 block of Ridge for a shooting that killed two men and injured two others. 58-year-old James Haulcy and 43-year-old Shjuan Weekly were both pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were taken to the hospital for treatment.

On July 19, 2024, the Homicide Division was advised that the 27-year-old man died from his injuries on May 4, 2024. An examination conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the manner of death as “homicide” due to complications from a gunshot wound. The 27-year-old has been identified as Bryan Davis of Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO.
