Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another man injured on August 11 in the Gravois Park neighborhood.
Around 9:50 p.m., officers were called to a local hospital after the two men, both 38 years old, were dropped off with gunshot wounds. One of the men died at the hospital. The second man was listed in critical condition. A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred at the Moto Mart in the 3700 block of S. Jefferson. The circumstances are still under investigation; however, at this time it appears the surviving man is the suspect in this incident and the dead man returned fire, wounding the suspect.
