District 2 is investigating a robbery that happened around 8:50 p.m. on December 2 at a residence in the 1000 block of S. Vandeventer.
A 30-year-old man told officers he met a 27-year-old male suspect online and invited him to his residence. Once there, the 30-year-old said the suspect asked to use the bathroom.
The 30-year-old said the suspect exited the bathroom and pointed a firearm at him then demanded money. The suspect took the 30-year-old’s money, game consoles and cell phone before fleeing the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
