With over 29 years of dedicated service, he has exemplified the values of integrity, compassion, and leadership throughout his extensive law enforcement career.

Career Path and Experience: Major Moore began his journey as a Fourth District patrol officer, where his passion for community service quickly became evident. His role as a Fourth District Public Affairs Officer showcased his dedication to fostering positive relationships between the police force and the community. As a Juvenile Detective and later as a Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Detective, he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of our society.

Progressing through the ranks, he served as a Sixth District Patrol Sergeant and an Internal Affairs Investigator, roles that further honed his investigative and leadership skills. His time in the Intelligence Unit Protective Services underscored his dedication to public safety.

As a Lieutenant of Police in Districts One, Two, Three, and Four, and later as the Commander of the Auto Theft Unit, Major Moore led with a focus on innovation and efficiency. His tenure as Captain of Police in Districts One and Six was marked by advancements in crime reduction and community engagement strategies.

Military Service Before embarking on his distinguished law enforcement career, Major Moore served with honor in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. His military service instilled in him a profound sense of duty, discipline, and dedication to serving others. The skills and values he acquired during his time in the Coast Guard Reserves have been instrumental in shaping his approach to leadership and community service.

Education and Professional Expertise Major Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. His academic background provides a unique perspective on crisis and trauma, enabling him to approach law enforcement with empathy and a deep understanding of human behavior. Additionally, he is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Missouri, further solidifying his expertise in addressing the psychological aspects of policing.
