District 5 detectives are investigating a cutting incident that occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on June 23 in the 900 block of Hamilton.
The victim, a 60-year-old man, advised officers that he was involved in an argument with his ex-wife when an unknown male got involved and struck him with a folding knife. The suspect fled on foot after the incident.
EMS transported the victim to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
