District 1 detectives are investigating after a Carjacking on June 22, just after 1:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Itaska.
The victim told officers he was walking to his red 2020 Chevrolet Blazer when he was approached by 3 black male suspects.
The victim was grabbed from behind and felt what he believed to be a gun placed to his back.
The suspects demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. All 3 suspects entered the vehicle and fled the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
