District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened on January 5 at a parking garage in the Central West End.
A 32-year-old1 man reported his vehicle became stuck in the snow while he was trying to enter the Parc Frontenac apartment garage. At that time, the 32-year-old said an unknown male in an SUV helped him get unstuck. The 32-year-old said after he successfully became unstuck and parked his vehicle in the garage, the same unknown male approached him in the parking garage.
The 32-year-old said the unknown male pointed a pistol at him and demanded his car keys. The 32-year-old said he relinquished his car keys and retreated to call police.
Officers responded and discovered the 32-year-old’s car was not taken and was still at the location. The investigation remains ongoing.
