District 3 is investigating a carjacking that happened on December 1 in the 3700 block of Pennsylvania.
A 23-year-old man told officers that around 6 p.m., he was returning to his 2014 Honda Insight after delivering food when he observed two unknown male suspects in the front seat of his car. The man said two additional unknown males were standing outside his car.
The 23-year-old said his car began driving away and he chased after his car. While doing so, the man said he was chased by the two additional males that were standing outside of his car. The two males caught up to him in the 3700 block of Nebraska, and at that point, the man said the suspects displayed a firearm and took his phone then destroyed it.
The 23-year-old man then said all four suspects fled in his car. He was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
