District 4 officers were called to a hospital after a man arrived needing medical help following a shooting.
An 18-year-old told officers he was at a car show in the 1800 block of North 9th Street around 11:50 p.m. on September 1 when he heard gunfire, began running and realized he had been shot in the thumb.
The 18-year-old was picked up by an unknown person and taken to an area hospital where the victim is listed as stable.
