District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man injured on December 24 at Genevieve and Thekla Avenues.
The 20-year-old man told officers he was standing around at the location around 10:10 a.m. when an unknown car drove towards him and fired numerous gunshots. The unknown car then fled in an unknown direction.
The 20-year-old was struck in his abdomen and was transported to the hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
