District 6 is investigating an argument that led to a man and woman cutting each other on August 8 in the Wells / Goodfellow neighborhood.
Shortly before 11 a.m., officers were called to the 3400 block of Union. Upon arriving, they located a 50-year-old male and 37-year-old female both suffering from a laceration each. A preliminary investigation revealed the two, who reported being friends, were involved in an argument that turned physical over personal matters. During the fight, both the man and woman reported they cut each other with a knife. The man was cut on his abdomen and the woman was cut on her arm.
EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The woman was treated at the scene and declined further treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
