Fourth District Detectives need help identifying and locating the suspect pictured in the below photos. He is wanted for stabbing a man in the back shortly before 8 a.m. on December 6 in the 800 block of Hadley.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, said the suspect approached him and asked for a lighter. While searching for the lighter, the victim said the suspect stabbed him in the back and then fled from the scene.
The 43-year-old man was taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
The suspect was described as a black male with a gray/white beard. He was wearing a black leather jacket, a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black and white Nike shoes, a white mask, and sunglasses. The suspect was also carrying a black backpack.
