Detective Strohmeyer Sr. joined the SLMPD in 1996 and served for years as a Homicide Detective before transferring to the Force Investigations Unit.

Detective Strohmeyer Jr. has now been a police officer for 10 years and like his father, is serving as a Homicide Detective.
