District 5 officers responded to an area hospital on June 29, around 10:30 p.m., after a 43-year-old man arrived on his own with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man told officers that he was near the intersection of Belt and Labadie, when an unknown occupant of a burgundy Chevrolet Impala fired shots at him.
A woman drove the man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
