District 4 officers responded to a Carjacking in the area 3700 Lindell around 11:48 p.m. on August 25.
A 23-year-old woman was parking her 2013 red Kia Rio, when she was approached by a man wearing a mask and all black clothing, pointing a rifle at her, demanding her keys.
The 23-year-old woman complied and the man with the gun got into the Rio, two additional men got into the backseat of the Rio and they drove away.
The vehicle was later located using License Plate Readers (LPR) in the area of S Tucker and Cass. Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle.
Two men ran from the vehicle. A juvenile in the rear seat of the Rio was taken into custody.
The 23-year-old woman was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
