District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 26-year-old woman injured on December 25 at Delmar and Kingshighway Boulevards.
The 26-year-old woman told officers around 7:30 p.m., she was walking when she heard a gunshot and then felt pain in her leg. She then asked an unknown person to convey her to the hospital.
The woman was listed in stable condition at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
