After 32 weeks of physical training and classroom instruction, 14 new SLMPD police officers were sworn-in during a graduation ceremony on April 24, 2025.
Commissioner Robert Tracey administered the oath of office during the ceremony to officially welcome the 14 officers, who will begin their assignments as Probationary Police Officers on April 25, 2025.
