A 17-year-old girl was shot in the early morning hours of August 3 while leaving a short-term rental party in the 6500 block of Minnesota.
District 1 officers learned there was a large fight that erupted in front of the short-term rental party around 2:00 a. m. and several shots were fired.
The victim reported feeling pain in her leg and drove herself to her residence, where EMS was notified. The juvenile was then transported to the hospital and is stable.
The girl suffered a gunshot wound to the knee.
