18-Year-Old Drives to Hospital After Being Shot Downtown

On March 30, 2025, at approximately 2:09 AM, Officers responded to the area of 14th St. and Pine for multiple calls for Shots Fired. Witnesses in the area stated they heard and observed gunshots in the intersection but could not provide a description of the shooter(s).

Minutes later, officers received a call that a shooting victim arrived at the hospital and the incident occurred at 14th and Pine St. Officers met with the victim, an 18-year-old man, who stated he was stopped at a red electric signal at 14th and Pine St. after leaving a party nearby. He observed a large crowd of people outside the location of the party and heard multiple gunshots. The 18-year-old stated he immediately drove off and felt pain to his shoulder. His passenger then drove them to the hospital.

Neither the victim nor the passenger could provide a description of the shooter(s).The 18-year-old victim was treated at the hospital and released a short time later.
