District 4 is investigating a shooting that happened on January 28 at Sheridan & Glasgow.
A 19-year-old male showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg around 5:30 p.m. He was vague and inconsistent with his statements; however, he eventually claimed he was accosted by a group of unknown males around 2:30 p.m. at Sheridan & Glasgow. The teen said the group started shooting at him when he refused to see what they wanted.
The 19-year-old was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
